We’re all surrounded by cool innovations, but which ones are actually changing things today, and what's the next big thing we should look out for?
Here are John Mark and Alyssa's take on today's most important tech and what future innovation they are most excited about.
John Mark thinks that AI and Machine Learning is the most important innovation happening right now
For me, the most important innovation today is AI and Machine Learning. It changes how we live and work every day. AI helps people by making tasks faster and easier, like in education, business, and healthcare. It makes things smarter and more convenient for everyone."
Basically, he sees AI as the tech that’s already making our lives faster and easier every day.
Looking ahead, he's most excited about Robotics:
"In the future, I look forward to more Robotics innovations. I think robots will be more advanced and can do jobs that are hard or dangerous for humans... The idea of humans and robots working together inspires me to keep learning ICT and be part of future technology."
He thinks robots will handle the tough, risky work, making life safer and easier for us.
Alyssa: Robotics is Key, But AI is Growing Fast
Alyssa actually sees Robotics as the most significant innovation happening today.
"Among the innovations in the Hub, The one I find most significant today is Robotics... Robotics is highly learnt in Japan when some people wish to be taught of expertise level in Robotics."
Robotics is highly learnt in Japan when some people wish to be taught of expertise level in Robotics. Some competitions happen in Japan too. For example, in Robotics, a VEX robotics competition always happen. For when, depends on the organizers. This one involves team building to build the designated robot with the team & complete it within the time limit.
For the future, Alyssa is watching AI and Machine Learning because it’s developing so quickly.
"The innovation I anticipate more in the future is the AI and Machine Learning since AI is growing recently... For AI & Machine Learning, the examples are the ones in TikTok. AI has grown fast & it's pretty obvious considering that AI generated videos are getting popular each day."
She noticed how much better and more realistic AI-generated stuff looks now compared to just a couple of years ago, showing how fast it’s improving.
It's cool how both John Mark and Alyssa are focusing on the same two big things: AI and Robotics. They only disagree on which one is making the biggest impact today and which one will have the biggest breakthroughs later.
